Infinite Fun

Hey guys! Chill here. I've decided to take a short break from reviewing CP's games - and because it's Games Month, I've decided to talk about Disney Infinity and the Club Penguin possibilities.

NOW, I have to warn you guys. This is the first ever post on Chill's Club Penguin Opinions that is 100% original ideas, not backed up by any proof or evidence whatsoever. So let's get going!

For those of you who don't know what Disney Infinity is, it's a game released by Disney (no kidding) for the Wii U, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii, and 3DS. The 3DS is a party-style game, but I won't go over that. The Wii U, Xbox, PS3, and Wii versions have six "playsets", which is basically the story mode, and the Toy Box, where you can build anything you want (the Toy Box is a bit different in the Wii version which, again, I won't go over). The six playsets are Monsters University, The Incredibles, Pirates of the Caribbean, Cars, The Lone Ranger, and Toy Story.

As far as playable characters go, currently Monsters University, The Incredibles, Pirates of the Caribbean, Cars, The Lone Ranger, Toy Story, and The Nightmare Before Christmas are represented. Future releases will include characters from Wreck-It Ralph, Tangled, Frozen (Disney's next movie), Phineas and Ferb, and Fantasia. Other franchises, while they don't actually have playsets or playable characters in the game, are still represented, such as TRON, Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, Winnie the Pooh, WALL-E, Up, Aladdin - and that's just to name a few!

Unfortunately Club Penguin has no representation in the game, at least for now. However, there is the possibility it could be added in a future patch. But here's what I think would make good CP content in Infinity.

The Figures
First of all, the lineup. Who could you play as in the game? Well, having some mascots would make it feel biased, and having all the mascots would be way too many. So, how about some generic characters?
The characters would be: Citizen, Agent, and Ninja. Citizen (seen on the left) is old blue and wears a Club Penguin shirt. For those of you who don't know, all characters come with two special powers by default, called packs and tools, and can unlock more items to use in the playsets and the Toy Box, or through Power Discs. Anyway, the Citizen's special tool would be a snowball that it could through, and the special pack it has would be a "waddle charge", sliding forward on the ground as if it were icy waving its flippers wildly.
Agent (seen in the middle) is red and wears the EPF Delta uniform. Agent's tool could be a snowball as well, or perhaps one of the blasters from System Defender. Agent's pack could also be the "waddle charge".
Last but not least is Ninja (seen on the right), who obviously wears the ninja outfit. Ninja's tool would be a bottle of hot sauce, a water balloon, and a snowball at once. For the pack, it would be an elemental combo. First, the target is blasted with fire, doused with water, and frozen. The frozen object/enemy can then be used as a platform or something else, or shattered with a simple hot sauce/water balloon/snowball combo.
The Power Discs
Power discs are special items that you can buy in blind packs, with two to a pack. They can give you special abilities, like boost your attack or give you invulnerability, change the appearance of the Toy Box, or give you items like packs, tools, and vehicles. If Club Penguin was in the game, here would be the Power Discs.
  • Snowball War: Ability disc. When used, you'll freeze enemies that you attack for a short time, similar to the end of the elemental combo, but can't be used as a platform.
  • Flare Flinger 3000: Toy disc. When used, you get the Flare Flinger 3000 as a pack in game and can fling flares.
  • Club Penguin Skydome: Texture disc. When used, you can put a Club Penguin-themed sky into the Toy Box.
  • Wilderness Texture: Texture disc. When used, the objects in the Toy Box are formatted to a Club Penguin theme.
The Unlockables
In Disney Infinity, every single character has their own exclusive items. All of the characters in the game have three "character chests" which can be found in their respective playsets, or the toy box if they don't have one. These chests can hold anything from mini versions of the character to characters from the franchise to enemies to texture sets and more. Basically if it's in the game, it's probably something you can find in a character chest. So what would the penguins unlock?

Citizen
  1. Citizen Costume - A mini version of the Citizen that wanders around the Toy Box when placed.
  2. Mascots Pack - When this pack is unlocked, Rockhopper, Cadence, Franky, Stompin' Bob, Petey K, G Billy, Aunt Arctic, and Sensei can be placed in the Toy Box.
  3. Puffles Pack - When this pack is unlocked, you can place Blue, Red, Black, Pink, Green, Purple, Yellow, White, Orange, Brown, Rainbow, and Gold Puffles in the Toy Box.
Agent
  1. Agent Costume - A mini version of the Agent that wanders around the Toy Box when placed.
  2. EPF Pack - When this pack is unlocked, Gary, Rookie, Dot, Jet Pack Guy, The Director, Herbert, Klutzy, Protobot, Wheelbot, Snowbot, and Jetbot can be placed in the Toy Box.
  3. Blackout Skydome - Adds an Operation: Blackout-themed sky into the Toy Box.
Ninja
  1. Ninja Costume - A mini version of the Ninja that wanders around the Toy Box when placed.
  2. Dojo Pack - When this pack is unlocked, you can place the Dojo, Volcano, Waterfall, and Mountain in the Toy Box.
  3. Snow Villains Pack - When this pack is unlocked, you can place Tusk, Scrap, Tank, and Sly in the Toy Box and fight them.
What do you guys think? Would you like to see Club Penguin in Disney Infinity? Anything you would change? Add? Remove?

Chill is out, peace!
