Is the Magenta Puffle Long Gone?

Hey guys! Chill here. Today I'm going to talk about Puffles - more specifically, the Magenta Puffle.

The Magenta Puffle, or the Hot Pink Puffle, has been rumored for years. It started a while ago in February 2009 when a new party was introduced - the Puffle Party. The logo featured every color of puffle, HOWEVER, at the end, the last four colors were white, orange, brown, and magenta. That year, the White Puffle came out. The next year, the Orange Puffle came out. Then, the Brown Puffle. But where's the Magenta Puffle?

My opinion: it's scrapped. Now don't get me wrong, it would be awesome to see a Magenta Puffle sometime soon. But I highly doubt it. Why?

I think Club Penguin is done releasing regular puffles. Last year, we got not one but TWO legendary puffles, Rainbow and Gold.

Now, with the Prehistoric Party, Club Penguin is FINALLY releasing the Puffle Hybrids we've seen since 2011, starting with the six varieties of Dino Puffles.
Going from regular puffles to legendary puffles and then to puffle hybrids is a huge step up, and I don't think Club Penguin will be taking some steps down anytime soon. But, you never know, they are full of surprises. Who would've actually thought we WOULD get the Rainbow or Gold Puffles in the first place?

Was Operation: Puffle Secretly Preparing Us For Coins for Change?

Hey guys! Chill here. So I thought of a theory - is Operation: Puffle secretly nothing more than preparation for Coins for Change?

Think about it. The Puffle Chase game earns you LOADS of coins, especially if you have a Gold Puffle. Considering Coins for Change is the month afterwards, this is a big hint. Aunt Arctic even suggested that we save them up for Coins for Change.

Add to that the fact that Herbert's vast hoard of coins was donated to Coins for Change, further tying the parties.

Maybe it's just me over-analyzing things, but what do you think?

Operation: Puffle Review

Hey guys! Chill here. So today I'll be reviewing the EPF's latest mission, Operation: Puffle (which I should have a while ago). Enjoy!
Features
Well, I'm glad to say that Operation: Puffle is packed with features! First of all, there's the Puffle Chase game, where you try and chase down some of Herbert's brainwashed puffles. You can also bring your Gold Puffle along to get some extra treasure. This game is REALLY fun and can get you lots of coins fast. I think it should come back eventually, except you're a pet shop worker trying to catch some puffles to put up for adoption.
PH and Herbert are also visiting for the party, and it's nice to see both of them back again. Although technically, PH started visiting for the Gold Puffle Quest, but hey, who cares.
Score: 5/5
Decorations
The decorations are FANTASTIC. The party rooms are all nicely designed, and the other rooms are given an amazing nighttime look. Personally, I hope CP adds a "timer" in the future that makes it so it slowly turns to night the later in the day it gets, either based on Penguin Standard Time or the time set on your computer's clock. They did a great job on all the designs, both regular rooms and party rooms alike, and I really hope we see them again sometime in the near future.
Score: 5/5
Items
There's lots of different items - items you can buy from catalogs, items you earn from catching puffles, items you earn from defeating Herbert... Chasing down puffles will net you some cool items like the Head Lamp, Rock Climbing Rope, Bullhorn, Thermos, Search Flashlight, and more. And while you're doing that, Gold Puffles can dig up some awesome stuff like gold hoodies, and even a new Puffle Hat, which is always welcome.
The party catalog brings back several items from last year around Operation: Blackout, such as the Herbert and Klutzy disguises. There's also some new stuff like a brain box replica for your penguin.
PH has the same background she did during the Gold Puffle discovery. Herbert also has a brand new background.
Speaking of Herbert, when you defeat him you get the Puffle Freedom Statue (pictured).
Score: 4/5
Music
I love love LOVE the secret agent music CP gives us. And this party is no exception. It's mostly remixes of Operation: Blackout, but we do get a few new songs, such as the awesome We Are The Elite or Stand and Defend. I just wish all the rooms had music like last year.
Score: 4/5
Non-Member Friendliness
Thankfully for non-members, this party isn't that bad for them. They get several different items by completing levels of Puffle Chase which is also available for non-members. And unlike Operation: Hot Sauce, non-members and members have the same wait time, instead of members being able to do it all instantly. The only things that aren't for non-members are the party catalog and a few items on certain Puffle Chase levels.
Score: 4/5
Final Thoughts
Operation: Puffle was a fantastic party. While it wasn't as great as the previous Operation: Blackout, it came pretty close. Keep up the great work Club Penguin!
Final Score: 4/5
