Astro Barrier Review

Hey guys! Chill here once again. Today I'm going to be reviewing a classic game on Club Penguin, Astro Barrier!
Now, due to my could-be-better Astro Barrier-ing skills, I can't showcase everything this game has to offer, but I still have a lot to show. The game starts off fairly simple, just hit the targets with your space ship.
A few levels in, the targets start varying in sizes. The bigger ones are usually easier to hit, and the smaller ones are harder.
Level 7 introduces you to the blue "1-Up Targets". You'll get an extra life if you hit them - but only if you haven't hit any other targets yet. A lot of times I find it's not worth it to try and get it first though.
Level 11 introduces orange boxes and buttons. Projectiles from your spaceship can't go through the boxes, so shooting the orange buttons will remove them.
Of course, you have to be careful, because sometimes you'll shoot a target and then it will block other targets or buttons.
Level 16 introduces the yellow double-targets. You have to shoot at them twice before it counts, which could really be a game-changer.
Level 24 adds stretching targets. Once you hit them, they'll stretch and take up more space, so you'll have to have strategy when shooting them.
Level 31 introduces blasters. They fire at the same time as you, which really helps when puzzles happen.
Unfortunately, getting in the way of a blaster will cause your ship to be destroyed forcing you to start over.
Sometimes the blasters will be in the way of targets, so you'll have to shoot it and destroy it first.
And that's as far as I got in the game. But that's not all! Play it for yourself to discover new gimmicks and secret levels!

Here's an interesting fact for everyone: some of you older players might remember that Astro Barrier and Thin Ice were fused together for April Fools 2008, creating Thinicetrobarrier. This "new" game is basically the same exact game, except the black puffle from Thin Ice replaces the spaceship.

Personally, I really like Astro Barrier. It's a great game to pass the time and, while it might be a lot harder than games such as Thin Ice, Jet Pack Adventure, or Pizzatron 3000, it's still a very fun game to play.

What do you guys think of Astro Barrier?

Chill is out, peace!
